Mr. Man Singh Rawat, a staunch Sarvodaya Sevak hails from Garhwal District of the Himalayan region. He is deeply committed to the fundamentals of Gandhiji’s Gram Swaraj, Vinoba’s Sarvodaya, and Jayprakash Narayan’s Jeevandan to the core. The work carried out by Mr. Rawat in the Sarvodaya movement is the work of Gram Swaraj. He participated in bhoodan movement and took a vow of Jeevandan for the cause of the country’s development.

Mr. Rawat did the Vishwa Maître Padyatra across Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Kotdwara to propagate peace and brotherhood. He has dedicated his life for the upliftment and development of the Boksa tribes in Haldukhata and its surrounding villages in Uttarakhand. .
