Settled down in native vaillage, Vellanad in Trivendrum district. Founded ‘Mitra Niketan’. Besides education, engaged in varied activities on scientific lines like - reclamation of waste land, conservation of soil and water, intensive plantation of varieties of trees, social forestry, model dairy, poultry and goatry development, coir making, Bio-gas technology etc. Founded ‘Krishi Vigyan Kendra, and the ‘Rural Technology Centre”.
